i just read an article about Singapore garhment suggesting singapore old folk to stay in JB old folks home instead becos it's supposed to be cheaper... grrrrr

with the recent family issue im facing... i cant help but to ponder deeper into it... how does it feels to be put in a home? esp by your own children? what's going to happen if i'm being put into one when im 85 years old? the thought of it makes me shiver... and i have to agree to what the author says.. if im ever seen walking with a walking aid.. please shoot me!

growing old is really a scary issue.. no wonder the ancient ppl are always sourcing for ways to immortality..

i really cant imagine the sadness to see the day my own children send me into a home for the age.. it seems like a form of abandon.. if u are childless, den i'll have nothing to comment abt.. maybe a home will provides more security for u... which den lead me to think.. if children is always the ultimate decision maker to put parent into old folks home.. den will the problem solve if u dun give birth or dun get married?

hahaha.. i believe, most of the time, it's the spouse that influence the decision to send their parent-in-law to old folks home.. supposely to be 'for the best benefit for them'... so if i dun get married, and have no children, i will not have to worry that my child will be instigated by their other half to send me to dump to away from them when i grow old?

hahaha.. im thinking about it seriously now....
